1. Rental Terms
1.1 Rental pricing is based on consecutive rental days and cannot be applied on separate alternative dates.
1.2 Furniture hire will be subjected availability based on the requested date of delivery and collection.
1.3 Any furniture reservation will be effective upon acceptance/endorsement of the order via e-mail or fax.
1.4 In the event of a cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, the customer is to bear a 30% penalty charge for the overall charges.
1.5 There will be no cancellation for items already delivered on site, big-scale orders and specially requested furnishing.
1.6 Four Legs Affair Pte. Ltd. reserve the rights not to proceed with delivery and/or installation upon non-fulfillment of the payment schedule.
1.7 A 300% penalty of the stated rental rates will be imposed for loss and damaged items due to the Customer’s negligence.
1.8 Late payment penalties will be charged at the rate of 5% per month on all overdue accounts, calculated as of the date of delivery or based on stated payment terms.
2. Delivery, Installation and Collection
2.1 The Customer or a suitable authorised representative must be available at the Premises at the time of delivery in order to sign for the Furnishing. In the event that the Customer fails to comply with the provisions of this sub-Clause 2.1 it shall be deemed to have accepted delivery of the Furnishing, assumed responsibility thereof and shall not have the right to subsequently dispute the facts of the delivery.
2.2 In the event that Four Legs Affair Pte. Ltd. is unable to deliver the Furnishing due to the Customer’s absence from the Premises (along with that of any authorised representatives) additional delivery charges will be incurred for any necessary re-delivery. Any such additional charges shall be borne by the Customer.
2.3 At the end of the Rental Term, on the agreed collection date the Customer shall ensure that all of the Furnishing is available for collection by Four Legs Affair Pte. Ltd..
2.4 At the end of the Rental Term, prior to collection in accordance with sub-Clause 2.3, the Customer or a suitable authorised representative must be available at the Premises at the time of collection in order to acknowledge for the return of the Furnishing in good order.
2.5 Any delay/cost arising from damages and loss of furniture hired caused by The Customer’s negligence shall be borne by The Customer. All furniture should also be returned in clean and working condition after usage.
3.1 The Customer is solely responsible for the furniture used for its intended purpose throughout the usage period.
3.2 The Customer may only affix or connect other items to the Furnishing where such affixation does not exceed the design limitations of the Furnishing and is not likely to damage it in any way.
3.3 The Customer is required to review and handle furniture hired from Four Legs Affair Pte. Ltd. with proper care in accordance with any safety or operations instructions provided by us.
3.4 The Customer may not remove Furnishing from the Premises without the prior written consent of Four Legs Affair Pte. Ltd.
4.1 Four Legs Affair Pte. Ltd. will not be liable for any personal injury or damage to property which results from the use of the Furnishing.
4.2 Four Legs Affair Pte. Ltd. will not be liable for any other loss or damage arising out of any circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
4.3 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be construed so as to exclude or limit the liability for death or personal injury caused by any act or negligence of Four Legs Affair Pte. Ltd.
5. Laws & Jurisdiction
5.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of The Republic of Singapore.
5.2 Any dispute between the Parties relating to these Terms and Conditions shall fall within the jurisdiction of the courts of The Republic of Singapore.
